Left camp at 7:40am, we found that both of my racks top bolts came off the bike so we had to get new ones. We stopped in Weedsport to get batteries at Kenny’s drug store. Before lunch we saw old Chinese food on the side off the road also a dead raccoon with maggots. Long lunch at diner in Jordan, very chaotic, ok burgers and good protein. We then took an alternate route to avoid mud on the trail. We made a quick stop in the afternoon at peter’s polar parlor(tongue twister). I had a chocolate shake and my dad had a strawberry ice cream soda, but after we ordered we saw a vanilla creamsicle flavor that we realized looked good. Arrived at Tipperary Hill(which is highest point in Syracuse) at 2:30pm. We went swimming and then went to a reception at Syracuse zoo.  Ate dinner.

We did 44.5 miles today in 4½ hours. Around 48.6 mile ride to Rome tomorrow.
