Day 3 on the ‘Epic’ journey. Patrick’s word. I am glad to get on the bike, and glad to get off the bike. Funny, same goes for motorcycles.

Rolled off the air mattress at 5:30am and left camp at 7:30am.

Total 60 miles today – 35 miles of which were on gravel, followed by rolling hills and a strong head wind for 25 miles. Arrived at 4:15pm, for a total of 7.15 hrs of riding. Showed off the sweet and grabbed a bud light.

Animal count: 1 live frog, 1 dead frog, 3 dead birds, vultures above? Or Osprey, 1 raccoon dead, 1 dead mink-fox, and finally 1 brave squirrel.
